Precious Tots Academy (PTA)
Effective/version date: 15 August 2026
This policy explains how Precious Tots Academy and the PTA app process personal information.
We collect names and email addresses for account management and authentication; messages for community communication; and photos, videos, and documents voluntarily uploaded for the school noticeboard. Camera access is used only when you choose to take a photo. Device diagnostics may be processed by the operating system or dependencies for security and stability.
The app is a restricted school community. Parents, guardians, staff, and other authorized members must not upload a child’s information or image without appropriate authority. Members can see community messages and published noticeboard media.
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and server-function services and may process data in its configured hosting region. Platform providers process app distribution and device services. We require providers to protect data and process it for contracted purposes.
Access is protected by approval, row-level database rules, encrypted transport, and device authentication. Fingerprint, Face ID, PIN, pattern, and passcode credentials remain controlled by the device. PTA receives only success or failure and does not collect or store biometric templates.
Account data is retained while the account is active. A deletion request revokes access immediately and is finalized after a 14-day recovery period. Auth identity, name, email, and solely owned uploads are deleted. Group-chat sender identity is replaced with “Deleted member” to preserve conversation continuity. Reports and consent evidence are retained only as needed for safeguarding, dispute handling, and legal obligations, normally no longer than 24 months. Operational logs and backups expire according to provider schedules, normally within 90 days after deletion.
You may report content, block a member locally, request deletion in the app, or use the public deletion page. Contact PTA with access, correction, deletion, or complaint requests. Material policy changes use a new version and require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
